Moving to Baltimore when I did when I was 18, and coming into DIY and punk with people like this as my friends, absolutely informed who I am today. That city will always have a very special place in my heart.
Nolen Strals and Double Dagger had a massive influence on my life. I owe Nolen a lot. Can’t wait to see this. Also look at their design work: Post Typography.
Here are some installation images of my work in the exhibition A Spectre is Haunting, now open at Gallery 400 in Chicago. Some events associated with the exhibition:
- Artists talks, April 10th, 5-7 (event details)
- Exhibition opening, Friday April 12th, 5-8 (event details)
Robert Gordon for Bloomberg Markets.
My friend Gregg Evans just made this image available as an affordable print to support his thesis exhibition. Limited to 20, so email him if interested: email@example.com. Also follow him on tumblr.
"I’ll tell you this much: the net art Duchamp won’t be a WASPy bourgeois merrily and post-ironically replicating corporate aesthetics and waxing nostalgic about the consuming and computing of their suburban 90s childhood."
Raw Nerve for Youth Attack.
(a print set of these images is available in the last Raw Nerve 7” test press edition).
